ESI® has evolved from the work of Freud and Federn and more modern-day psychologists such as Emmerson PhD and Watkins.  It comes from ego state personality theory.

ESI® has been developed by Jan Sky (2008) and is a process that identifies the many parts of you - parts we call states (or factors).  These states make up your own unique personality map. 

ESI® allows you to recognise both supportive and inhibitive factors from which you or your team operate. By uncovering inhibiting factors that hold you or your team back from achieving full potential, you are better equipped to put strategies in place and/or make adjustments to your behaviour where necessary.

ESI® works with teams to promote harmony and collaboration which in turn creates high performance.  ESI works by identifying factors which are often unspoken and yet contribute to problematic situations that often go unresolved.
